ST. LOUIS – The first of three people accused in a 2025 murder and robbery was sentenced Tuesday after reaching a plea deal with prosecutors.
Jvonta K. Johnson, 25, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, first-degree robbery, and unlawful possession of a firearm. He was originally charged with first-degree murder and additional counts of armed criminal action. However, the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office waived or reduced the charges in exchange for Johnson’s plea.
