JERSEYVILLE — A 39-year-old Jerseyville woman faces a felony aggravated DUI charge.
The Jersey County Sheriff’s Department presented the case June 26, alleging the defendant was driving a 2019 Chevrolet passenger car while under the influence of alcohol on or about June 23 on East Exchange Street in Jerseyville. The charge is a Class 4 felony because the incident occurred while the defendant’s driving privileges were revoked or suspended.
The defendant also was charged with driving on a revoked license and failure to notify damage/unattended vehicle after she allegedly struck a Frontier Communications pole and a GTI box and left the scene. Both charges are Class A misdemeanors…
