Authorities Find Child’s Remains Days After Father Is Arrested on Parental Kidnapping Charges

Two people have been arrested in connection with a missing child case that led investigators to discover a child’s remains in Illinois.

The remains of the child — who has not yet been identified — were found in Stookey Township, Ill., on Wednesday, July 8, according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD) and the Desloge Police Department (DPD).
