The Drug Enforcement Agency has named new leadership for the St. Louis Field Division which covers Kansas, Missouri, and southern Illinois.
While new to the St. Louis position, Steven Hofer is returning to the region where he started his career 22 years ago.
Hofer joined the DEA in 2004 and was assigned to the St. Louis Division in 2004 after serving 10 years as an officer in the U.S. Army. Hofer served the division in several roles focusing on drug traffickers, eventually leading a multi-agency group in Springfield, Missouri…
