A 41-year-old woman was killed, and a 24-year-old man was injured in a wrong-way crash Tuesday evening on eastbound Interstate 64 west of Interstate 270, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The crash occurred at approximately 6:56 p.m. Tuesday, July 14.
Investigators said a 2004 Dodge Ram was traveling west in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 64 when it collided with an eastbound 2023 Volkswagen Tiguan. The front left sides of both vehicles struck each other.
