On Nov. 11, 2022, Timothy Dubois Jr. of Fayette County abducted a woman from a Starbucks parking lot in Collinsville, Ill. Dubois entered the woman’s car with a knife and threatened her to drive eight miles away. He sexually assaulted her upon reaching a residential neighborhood in Troy.

A jury found Dubois guilty of criminal sexual assault, aggravated sexual assault, aggravated criminal sexual abuse and aggravated kidnapping in May.
