Teen shot in south St. Louis, seeks help at fire station

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A teenage male was shot early Wednesday in south St. Louis and walked to a nearby fire station for help, according to police.

Medic units were called to the engine house on Michigan Avenue around 3:45 a.m. after the victim arrived there seeking assistance.

The victim told police he was on a porch in the 6500 block of Minnesota Avenue when he heard gunfire and felt pain in his leg. He then went to the fire station on the next block…
