ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A St. Louis man faces charges, including murder, after police said he shot at a group of people rummaging through his parked car.
Timothy Kemper, 39, is charged with first-degree murder, first-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and three counts of armed criminal action in the 22nd Judicial Circuit Court of St. Louis, according to court records.
A probable cause statement said Thursday the shooting occurred at Scanlan Avenue in the Lindenwood Park neighborhood. A group of men were seen on surveillance video walking down the street, checking car door handles.
Kemper, who lived on the second floor of a nearby building, saw one of the men enter his car and begin rummaging through it, according to the statement. The document said he then shot several rounds at the group, striking two men…
