A woman from northeastern Missouri was killed, and two other people were injured in an overnight crash involving an SUV and a tractor-trailer on Interstate 44 in Kirkwood, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP).
The fatal collision occurred shortly before 12:30 a.m. on westbound Interstate 44, just east of Sappington Road, prompting a lengthy highway closure while emergency crews responded and investigators examined the scene.
