ST. LOUIS — An awards banquet honoring officers with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department took an unexpected turn when a young boy called out from the crowd to celebrate his father.
The unscripted moment took place during the North Patrol Police & Business Partnership Awards Luncheon, which recognized officers and detectives from the SLMPD’S Fifth and Sixth districts.
