ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – After 365 days in the hospital, one-year-old Aria Gillespie came home on her first birthday.
Aria was born July 6, 2025, at 22 weeks and weighed 12.3 ounces — one of the smallest babies Mercy Hospital St. Louis had delivered, according to her mother, Alycia Gillespie. She was later transferred to St. Louis Children’s Hospital, where she was until her first birthday.
