Fall Festivals and other Events in St. Louis 2026

As the summer rolls on and the kids will soon be back in school, our thoughts turn to the cooler days of the fall with festivals. But there is still time for some summer fun…

They call them the “Dog Day”– those days in late July and August when it is hottest and most humid, and downright unbearable at times. The way to stay cool in St. Louis is head out to an air conditioned facility for some late summer fun. Places we suggest are swimming pools, bowling alleys, and the Aquarium at Union Statioin.

July 24-Aug. 2– Shark Week at the Aquarium at Union Station

t’s everyone’s favorite summer event — the anual celebration of Shark Week, July 24 through August 2.

“We celebrate sharks all year long here at the St. Louis Aquarium, but the official Shark Week is special fun for all of us,” said Erin Clark, the Aquarium’s executive director. “We make sure all of our visitors have up close and personal experiences with our shark friends this week.”…
