ST. LOUIS – After losing her husband to pancreatic cancer in 2023, Kira Andersen has turned her family’s heartbreak into a mission to give other cancer patients more options, raising $2.85 million toward a $3 million goal to help advance cancer research.
Andersen’s husband, Kyle, was diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer in October 2021 at age 47. At the time, the couple had three young children under the age of 5.
