Suspect charged after 6 shot at party in St. Louis County

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A suspect has been charged in a shooting at a St. Louis County party.

On May 24, six people were shot in the 11800 block of West Florissant Ave. All of the injuries were reportedly non-life-threatening.

On Wednesday, 19-year-old Javon Philips was charged with six counts of assault first degree or attempt – serious physical injury or special victim, one count of assault first degree or attempt, and seven counts of armed criminal action.

Phillips reportedly arrived at a party with four others armed with guns to shoot his ex-girlfriend’s current boyfriend at a party. When Philips and the others got out of their cars, they started shooting at his ex-girlfriend’s current boyfriend and into a crowd of people…
