Gov. Kehoe signs bills aimed at redeveloping downtown St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Governor Mike Kehoe signed two new bills Wednesday afternoon that he says could help get vacant buildings redeveloped, bring in new investment and get more people back downtown.

New incentives take effect immediately

State and city leaders gathered downtown to celebrate the new legislation.

“St. Louis has helped build Missouri before. There is no reason it can’t help lead Missouri again,” Kehoe said.

Kehoe said the tools are now in effect and the city and developers can begin using them immediately…
