ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A St. Louis jury found a 45-year-old man guilty of a deadly shooting in Jeff-Vander-Lou in 2025.
Curtis Sills, 45, was found guilty on Wednesday in St. Louis Circuit Court of first-degree murder and armed criminal action in the shooting death of Shaun Mooring, 43, on April 21, 2025, according to the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office.
Police officers found Mooring shot to death in the street near North Market Street and Coleman Street. The attorney’s office said investigators used surveillance cameras to track a brown car from the area of the shooting and identified Sills as the driver.
Video showed Sills placing a gun underneath the car’s hood. Police detained him and found Mooring’s wallet, blood and a handgun in the car…
