Taney County authorities arrest man for alleged fentanyl trafficking

TANEY COUNTY, Mo. — A man from St. Louis was arrested for allegedly being caught with about one ounce of Fentanyl powder in Taney County during a drug investigation.

Eric Combs, 47, is charged with first-degree drug trafficking and driving while revoked/suspended.

On Sept. 1, 2026, officers detained Combs on Shepherd of the Hills Expressway, where he was taken into custody for driving with a revoked license.

Law enforcement noticed a baggie and a plastic container, both filled with a white, powdery substance, in Combs’ car and obtained a search warrant for the vehicle…
