Overnight fire destroys warehouse in north St. Louis

ST. LOUIS – An overnight fire destroyed a warehouse Friday morning in north St. Louis.

The fire occurred around 1:20 a.m. in the 4300 block of Margaretta Avenue. When officers arrived on the scene, they found heavy flames coming from the warehouse.

The warehouse was a part of the St. Louis Dream Center, a former outreach center used by a north St. Louis ministry. The building had been closed after being damaged in the May 2025 tornado in north St. Louis. Officials said clothing and other donated items stored inside the structure helped the fire spread quickly.
