Missouri lawmaker renews push to address squatters

ARNOLD, Mo. – A Missouri lawmaker has refiled legislation aimed at making it easier to remove squatters from private property.

Last month, FOX 2 spoke with Felicia Rouldson, an inspection manager whose company works to rehab vacant homes in south St. Louis. She said squatters have become a problem in the area.

“They break in, destroy stuff, bust windows, bring items, fill your unit up with things that they took from wherever they get it,” Rouldson said…
