Wheelchair-bound man evicted after shooting would-be robber

ST. LOUIS – A man in a wheelchair says he is being evicted for defending himself. It involves a shooting at Euclid Plaza Apartments under the St. Louis Housing Authority. Police and prosecutors call Torrey Holliday a robbery victim.

Holliday says rental management terminated his lease.

“I woke up the next morning, they not even trying to ask me, ‘Am I alright? What happened? Is it ok?’ Nothing,” he said. “All they hit me with was a big (bleep) package saying, ‘You got to be out.’”…
