When The Cheesecake Factory in Chesterfield Mall closed in 2024 for the demolition of the property, loyal customers of the restaurant wanted to know if the popular eatery would open another West County location. The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated’s Senior Director of Public Relations Alethea Rowe said the company has been looking for another location in the area ever since and are now gearing up to open that new spot on Nov. 10 at the West County Center in Des Peres.
“We have enjoyed being part of the greater St. Louis area since first opening there in 2002, and we look forward to being part of the Des Peres community,” Rowe said. “West County Center is known as a vibrant shopping and dining destination, and we look forward to opening there this November.”
Des Peres Mayor Mark Becker said the return of The Cheesecake Factory is a boost for the entire community.
“It not only highlights the ongoing popularity of West County Center as a premier shopping location, but also reinforces Des Peres as a welcoming place for businesses to succeed,” Becker said. “We are grateful for their investment in both the mall and our community.”…
