Historic Kirkwood Amtrak station reopens after $4.7 million overhaul

KIRKWOOD, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A historic train station has officially reopened after a year-long, $4.7 million overhaul.

The 133-year-old depot now features a restored 1940s-style platform, a new courtyard and a new micro museum showcasing artifacts and murals celebrating local rail history.
