EDWARDSVILLE — The Wood River man accused of killing three people in a high-speed auto accident in Granite City on Sept. 14 appeared in court Wednesday and waived his right to a detention hearing.
A preliminary hearing for Kevin Duane Johnson, 64, was set for 8:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2 at the Madison County Criminal Justice Center before Associate Judge Neil Schroeder.
Johnson faces three charges of first-degree murder, all Class M felonies; three counts of reckless homicide, all Class 2 felonies; and four counts of aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude a peace officer, all Class 4 felonies…
