Trio accused of using tow truck to steal cars in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Three men are accused of stealing cars in the City of St. Louis.

The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said that Daron Oscar, 37, Charles Currie, 38, and Lamonte Brown, 42, are each charged with one count of stealing a motor vehicle and tampering with a motor vehicle.

According to police, the trio stole cars using a tow truck. The suspects targeted older cars that appeared to need repair or to be broken down, but not all of the cars were actually broken down.
