ST. LOUIS – A Missouri woman filed a lawsuit after falling from a stage during the St. Louis Blues’ 2019 Stanley Cup celebration. A trial for that lawsuit is now underway.
Jessica Joniak filed the lawsuit in February 2024 against the St. Louis Blues, Fair Saint Louis and two other event partners after she says she suffered serious injuries from the fall.
The lawsuit alleges, on June 19, 2019, during the Blues’ Stanley Cup title celebration in downtown St. Louis, some crowd members were invited onto a stage.
