OVERLAND, Mo. — Faith leaders, immigrant organizers and community members gathered in Overland Sunday for a pilgrimage honoring immigrant children and families — while remembering an Overland couple whose lives ended after they were forced to leave the community.
The Sept. 27 pilgrimage was held in recognition of the Catholic Church’s World Day of Migrants and Refugees.
