3rd teen certified as adult in fatal shooting of rideshare driver in St. Louis County

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) -A third teenager has been certified as an adult in the fatal shooting that claimed the life of Shannon O’Brien, 28, in January.

Kamarionne Carter, 17, was certified as an adult Tuesday and is being charged with one count of second-degree murder, two counts of armed criminal action and one count of unlawful use of a weapon.

Carter is the fourth teen to be charged in the shooting that killed O’Brien on Jan. 30 in Ferguson.

In August, Lamarkus Van and Cortez Alexander, both 17, were certified as adults on charges of second-degree murder, first-degree assault and two counts of armed criminal action.

A fourth suspect, Noah Johnson, 18, is charged with first-degree murder, aiding/abetting a person discharging/shooting a firearm at or from a motor vehicle and two counts of armed criminal action.
