Condemned Baden apartments force residents to find new housing in 10 days

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Residents of an apartment building on North Broadway in the Baden neighborhood say they have 10 days to move out after the City of St. Louis condemned the property.

Doneshia Babbitt, a resident, said letters from the city were posted at the building Friday, October 2, notifying tenants of the condemnation.

“A lot of us don’t have nowhere to go,” Babbitt said. “A lot of us are basically making it, or going to be living from pillar to the post. Some of us are going to be living on the street,” Babbitt said…
