A planned year-long closure of eastbound I-64 between Vandeventer and Compton is about one year away.
People who live, work, commute and recreate along Interstate 64/US Route 40 between Vandeventer and Compton in the city of St. Louis may want to participate in an upcoming public meeting on October 21 to provide their comments and concerns as engineers wrap up plans for a portion of I-64 in the city.
The closure is to allow crews to remove and replace the elevated section of the eastbound interstate between Vandeventer and Compton and to make updates to the connection between the eastbound interstate and Grand, starting in 2027…
