Chevys Fresh Mex (9119 Olive) in Olivette is closing October 25, ending a run of more than 30 years. As of this writing, no reason for the closure had been publicly announced, no signs at the restaurant indicated it was closing, no last day closing hours, and the website still listed the location as open. SLM has been in contact with Xperience Restaurant Group, which owns Chevys, along with 10 other brands. A company rep said that the Olivette closure details are forthcoming.
