Problems began three years ago when a tree fell during a storm in 2021.

It is thought that this damaged a water line as since then water has continued to emerge from underneath the tree.

This then flows to the driveway and freezes up in the winter causing a dangerous ice rink.

As Fox News affiliate KTVI visited her home, in a bid to help Gates, she demonstrated how she has to get to and from her house by scooting on the ice while sitting on a scarf.
