Juvenile shot and killed near City Museum

ST. LOUIS – A juvenile was shot and killed near City Museum in Downtown West early Wednesday morning.

According to a spokesperson for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 1500 block of Lucas Avenue around 5 a.m. for a shooting. Shortly afterward, police were notified that the victim had been dropped off at a Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital for a gunshot wound to their back.

The victim was eventually pronounced dead at the hospital. The age and identity of the victim have not been released.
