ESSEX, Mo. (KBSI) – Three people face charges after they are accused of trying to scrap stolen items. Stoddard County Sheriff Carl Hefner reports on Wednesday, January 24 the Stoddard County Sheriff’s Office received a call in reference to stealing on State Highway 153 near Essex. Deputy Travis Maddox found a white pickup truck and trailer loaded with scrap metal. Deputy Maddox located two men and one woman.
