ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Two people are hospitalized after a shooting Thursday afternoon in a north St. Louis County parking lot.
The shooting happened just after 2 p.m. Thursday in the 12000 block of New Halls Ferry Road, just outside Florissant city limits.
When police arrived to the scene, they found several shell casings around the parking lot and learned that two victims were being rushed to a nearby hospital.

Police say the victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators with the Florissant Police Department believe this is a “targeted incident.”
Authorities have not yet disclosed any details on the victims, a potential suspect or what might have led up to the shooting.
