Drug dealer sentenced to 12 years in prison in connection with Fentanyl death of teenager

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A man will serve time in prison for being responsible for the death of a teen in 2021. Officials say on February 3, 2021, 17-year-old J.G. overdosed on fentanyl that was disguised as “M-30″ Percocet pills. He was attending an outpatient treatment facility and contacted Katlyn Brewer, 26, and Cameron Houston, 22, through Snapchat to buy the drugs. Keith Edward Matthews, 24, admitted to providing 400 grams and 1.3 kilograms of fentanyl to the two suspects.
