The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) will be holding a recruitment presentation at the Illinois Worknet Center on Wednesday, January 31st from 10 AM to 12 PM CST.
A representative from the Illinois DCFS will be at the Illinois Worknet Center talking about the various job openings along with some tips on how to fill out the online application which will give you a better chance of receiving a follow-up interview.
The DCFS has plenty of job openings throughout the state because the state deals with more than 20,000 cases every year. Plus, the DCFS is going through some restructuring at this time after the resignation of former director Marc Smith at the end of 2023. This restructuring means that this time is the best time in order to gain employment with the DCFS.
