ST. LOUIS – How well is the ‘Guaranteed Basic Income Program’ working in St. Louis? That’s the program giving five hundred dollars a month to families in need.
The city treasurer’s office is giving a report on how it’s working to the Board of Aldermen committee on Wednesday. The program started last year, offering $500 a month to families below the poverty line who lost money because of the pandemic.
