A 13-year-old girl is in critical condition following a shooting in an Alton neighborhood on Saturday afternoon. The shooting took place just before 3pm in the 900 block of Highland Avenue. Alton Police got the call and several officers arrived on the scene, backed up by a number of area departments including Illinois State Police and the Madison County Sheriff’s Department.
