EAST CAPE GIRARDEAU, Ill. (KFVS) – Authorities have confirmed the shooting suspect involved in a police chase in East Cape Girardeau was killed. According the Cape Girardeau Police Department, the suspect in the pursuit was Donald J. Friese, who was charged after a Granite City police officer was shot late Tuesday night. He was on the run.
