ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A man was killed and a woman was injured in a crash in Cahokia Heights late Thursday night. Police say the two-vehicle crash happened around 11:20 p.m. in the 4800 block of Bond Avenue. It appeared to be a head-on collision right by the Alorton Fire Department. Both drivers were trapped and had to be cut from their vehicles. A woman driving an SUV was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive. The other driver, a man in an SUV, was pronounced dead on scene.
