ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Washington University will spend $39 million to buy land from Fontbonne University. Earlier this year, Fontbonne University announced it would close after the summer 2025 term. They said the decision to close was made after years of declining enrollments and a shrinking endowment.
