Savannah Bananas pitcher and St. Louis-native Noah Niznik discusses Bananas playing at Busch Stadium in 2025

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Get ready St. Louis baseball fans to see some ‘Banana Ball’ make its way to Busch Stadium next year.

Last week, the Savannah Bananas announced their 2025 schedule and among the stops will include a trip to St. Louis with the Bananas set to play two games against the Party Animals at Busch Stadium in April 2025.

When the Bananas make their way to St. Louis, it will be special for Bananas pitcher Noah Niznik, a St. Louis-native and graduate of St. John Vianney High School.

Niznik says growing up as a St. Louis Cardinals, the player he would idolize the most was Cardinals legendary outfielder Jim Edmonds.

“Jimmy Ballgame takes the cakes,” said Niznik on ‘The Chris and Amy Show’. “For me as a kid, always watching him, having his posters on my wall, and going out in the yard with myself and throwing the ball up, diving around and trying to be like him.”

Niznik discussed how he joined the Bananas after a collegiate career pitching for the Redhawks at Southeast Missouri State University, and it needed a video featuring him doing dances moves that was sent to the Bananas.
