More hurricane relief is coming to the CSRA from St. Louis, Missouri

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. (WJBF) – A team from St. Louis, Missouri, came to Augusta to help with Hurricane Relief, partnering with Dallas Heights Baptist Church in Hephzibah.

Several weeks ago, the owner of Resilient Boxing and Brocks Tree Service from Missouri came to Augusta with a box truck to help those in the community. They told me they felt a calling to come back with a semi-trailer full of necessities from The Salvation Army.

“We came out here two weeks ago. The Lord kind of spoke to our hearts and told us to come down here, and my friend Brock has a tree-cutting service,” said Emil Hector, the owner of Resilient Boxing in Missouri. “We came down to do a lot of charity and community work and met with Pastor Danial and saw a need for a lot of supplies to give back and I think our country needs a lot more love, and we wanted to step up and make a difference.”

One of the team members told me they first heard about all the damage from a family member and knew they needed to help somehow.
