ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis Circuit Court judge signed arrest warrants for an Illinois trio wanted for several break-ins and burglaries across the city in the summer and fall.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department’s probable cause statements, David R. Hayes, 45, committed nine break-ins, thefts, or burglaries between September and November at gas stations, laundry rooms, and other office spaces. Police said Lea A. Mamino, 40, accompanied Hayes on four of the crimes, while Temple participated in three incidents.
On Sept. 13, police spotted the trio at a gas station in the 900 block of South Broadway in a stolen Chevrolet pickup truck. That same night, they broke into a business in the 6400 block of Gravois Avenue and stole liquor, cigarettes, and other merchandise.
On Sept. 28, Hayes, Mamino, and two unidentified accomplices broke into a gas station in the 5300 block of Chippewa Street. Police said the group stole more than $750 in cigarettes and vaping products. The suspects used the stolen Chevy pickup during the crime.
