ST. LOUIS – After a sunny Sunday, Monday will bring cloudy conditions that will lead to some wet weather for the Christmas holiday. Temperatures will be mild enough all week that all St. Louis area precipitation will be rain.
Cloudy skies on Monday; top temperatures will be in the upper 40s in the afternoon. A few sprinkles may squeeze out of those clouds, but steady rain is not expected.

Overnight, rain will begin to build up from the south. Expect rain showers south of metro St. Louis in the early morning hours of Tuesday. Let’s also watch for some fog. Wake up temperatures in the upper 30s.
Rain will continue to build north on Tuesday, reaching metro St. Louis after noon. Highs in the mid-40s. Light rain is expected Christmas Eve night and Christmas morning. Even as things dry out for a while, Wednesday will stay cloudy. Highs in the mid-40s.
Additional rain is expected late Thursday into Friday. Milder, highs in the 50s.
