MISSOURI, USA — A 25-year-old man in Missouri was arrested Wednesday after police said he impersonated an immigration officer, kidnapped a woman, and assaulted her while demanding she provide citizenship documents north of St. Louis.
Louisiana, Missouri, resident Bryan Golbricht reportedly busted through the victim’s door in the city, claimed three deputies would be arriving at the scene shortly, and put his hand around the victim’s neck, according to arrest documents. Golbricht also acted like he had a firearm in his waistband and threatened the victim.
The victim called a translator during the assault, who recorded the phone call, police said. The translator told Golbricht that she could have police arrive at the scene to sort out the issue, but Golbricht said he didn’t want police there…
