With a sixth-place finish in the 14-team Class 3A Mahomet-Seymour Sectional, the Edwardsville dance team qualified for the state final competition for the third straight season and seventh time in program history.
Edwardsville scored 87.02 points with its jazz routine to earn the sixth and final state tournament berth out of the Mahomet-Seymour Sectional.
