ST. LOUIS – A Hazelwood woman faces charges after being accused of helping her son escape from the St. Louis County Detention Center.
Tashira McDonald, 37, is accused of picking up her son in Forest Park after he escaped a medical vehicle taking him for treatment for a self-inflicted injury. McDonald’s son was originally facing first-degree burglary charges.
