‘Project Pancake’: Uncle Bill’s to reopen on Kingshighway just months after closing

ST. LOUIS — A beloved 24-hour restaurant in south St. Louis will return just months after closing, according to a local property developer.

Uncle Bill’s Pancake House shut down last October after more than 60 years of operation when its owner decided to retire, Manager Kimberly Watson previously told 5 On Your Side. Developer Garcia Properties announced Monday that the iconic restaurant would soon be returning in all of its former glory.
