ST. LOUIS — Trying to evade St. Louis police officers by driving recklessly for the second consecutive day, a man crashed into the rear of another vehicle Sunday, hurting two innocent bystanders, court records said.
Police said Kendrick Javon Mitchell, a 25-year-old resident of the Ville, then ran from the crash scene before officers found him in an apartment building stairwell. Still breathing heavy after his run from police, Mitchell was arrested. Police found the keys to the crashed car— a red Chevrolet Malibu— in his possession.
